My mom used to have this sign in her kitchen while I was growing up. β€œπ‘΄π’‚π’“π’“π’Šπ’‚π’ˆπ’†π’” 𝒂𝒓𝒆 π’Žπ’‚π’…π’† π’Šπ’ 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒏. 𝑺𝒐 π’Šπ’” 𝒕𝒉𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓 & π’π’Šπ’ˆπ’‰π’•π’π’Šπ’π’ˆ.β€œβš‘οΈ
I always thought this was just a funny sign that got all our guests to laugh when they would visit… Then I got married. πŸ˜‚ All in all, my husband & I have a pretty awesome marriage. Song of Solomon 3:4 𝑰 𝒇𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒐𝒏𝒆 π’Žπ’š 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒔❀️

However with β€œevery” relationship comes learning & growing. No relationship is perfect. It just isn’t. If someone told you their marriage is perfect… they are lying πŸ€₯ I couldn’t help but think back to my mom’s humorous sign. It actually made a LOT of sense.
Did you know that the ground has a positive charge, so the positively charged ground attracts the negative lightning bolt, and when the two meet, it produces a strong electrical current. This reaction helps our earth maintain its electrical balance as lightning helps transfer negative charges back to the earth. 🌍

Just as each partner in a marriage helps balance each other out. We need each other.
The loud thunder that follows the lightning bolt is commonly said to come from the bolt itself. However, the grumbles and growls we hear in thunderstorms actually come from the rapid expansion of the air surrounding the lightning bolt. Kind of like the grumbles we sometimes let out in our little arguments. These grumbles are a sign to start talking. That lightning is coming. You need β€œbalance”.
God is pretty amazing that way. He does NOTHING by accident. Everything is made 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒇𝒆𝒄𝒕 by him. Including you. Including your marriage. It’s up to you on what to do with it.
