If you have followed me for a while, then you know my love for the great Smoky Mountains. My parents have southern roots and visited many, many times as a child. It was only fitting that when I met my husband and found out he had a love for it as well, that this is where we spent our Honeymoon! We have taken our children there, and even grandchildren! It will always hold a special place in our hearts. That is why when @sweetretreatatpigeonforge reached out for me to visit and experience what their cabin had to offer, it was a no brainer! I was all in. I am always down for bringing the best of the Smokies to you!
First off, The cabin is so adorable! Snuggled on a hilltop cul-de-sac. Invited in by a porch of cozy rocking chairs and the sounds of beautiful mountain birds. This cabin has everything you need. I mean everything! The host truly makes sure you have all your needs when staying here!ย
I made eggs one morning and completely forgot to order butter. The kitchen is fully equipped. There was cooking spray, salt, pepper, right along with the pots, pans, bowls, utensils, just anything you can think of to cook up your culinary dish! We brewed our morning coffee with the coffee maker that is also provided! AND YOU GUESSED ITโฆ they have all your coffee, tea, and hot cocoa needs. K-cups with cream & sugar are all provided. It was a perfect morning to enjoy our breakfast on the back porch with beautiful tree top views.
The bedroom is the coziest! The king bed was SO comfy! You can sink right in and let your worries go away. We actually took pictures of the pillow brands so we could purchase them when we got home. They were so fluffy and cozy! The perfect bed to sink into and relax when you want to get away from it all. The attached full bath, I mean full luxury bath is amazing. A soaking tub and rain shower. Complete with spa quality robes. You really feel like you are royalty right there in the mountains. And you if you have forgotten โanythingโ, they have right there in the bathroom! Toothbrushes, toothpaste, blow dryer, curling iron, straightener, hygiene products, ear plugs! I mean fully equipped! I can see why they won most hospitable!
The family area has the most plush pottery barn leather sofa by a relaxing fireplace. So much to do right there in the cabin. 55″ HDTV with standard cable, Roku, Disney+, HBO Max. And games that will keep you busy for hours, books for leisure reading, and puzzles!
If you do not feel like staying and would rather go for a hike, there are the cutest walking sticks by the door. It is also just 2 miles from Dollywood and less that 10 minutes from the main strip! You also have access the community pool.
Get a little mud and dirt from hiking? No worries. There is a washer and dryer withโฆ you guessed it! All your detergent and washing needs. ๐งบ
End the day in the amazing outdoor hot tub! And it was AMAZING! I had a bit of an accident recently and have been healing from a banged up leg and busted ribs. This hot tub was just what I needed. It was like therapy to these sore bones! ย
The perfect temps. Perfect jets. The size, the seating. The lights. Iโve been to a lot of places and have had to pass on the hot tub because of the lack of cleanliness or other issues. I can honestly say, this one was just perfect. And the view was beautiful.
If you are looking for the perfect 1 bedroom, 1 bath, with a living room cabin. Look no further. This one is perfect for a couples getaway, an anniversary, a birthday, a girls getaway, or a family just looking to see the beautiful parks or local attractions.
I highly recommend it! This one on your must stay lists!
