Italian Bread Oil

I made homemade bread with dipping oilโ€ฆ. Ahhhhh! It was soooo good!!! I broke my no carbs rule for this one. I mean, ๐ˆ๐“ ๐–๐€๐’ ๐†๐Ž๐Ž๐ƒ!

I was immediately reminded of

Ruth 2:14

โ€œAt mealtime Boaz said to her, โ€œCome over here. Have some bread and dip it in the wine vinegar.โ€

When she sat down with the harvesters, he offered her some roasted grain. She ate all she wanted and had some left over.โ€

I love the book of ๐‘๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก, there is SO much to dive into, but this one verse. There is just so much in this one verse!

*๐‘จ๐’• ๐’Ž๐’†๐’‚๐’๐’•๐’Š๐’Ž๐’†, It starts off at mealtime. A time to be fed. Already she was โ€œhungryโ€. She was looking to be fed. I love how the book of Ruth mirrors Boaz, her soon to be husband with her Heavenly Father. She was looking to be nurtured and He was willing. He adored her the moment he saw her.ย

*๐‘ช๐’๐’Ž๐’† ๐’‰๐’†๐’“๐’†, Boaz wanted Ruth to draw near. To rest from her work. How much does our heavenly Father say draw near. Come to me to rest.ย

*๐‘ฌ๐’‚๐’• ๐’๐’‡ ๐’•๐’‰๐’† ๐’ƒ๐’“๐’†๐’‚๐’…, Boaz invited Ruth to his table. The masterโ€™s table. He wanted to make sure she was nourished. The Lord wants us to feast on his word until our souls have been nourished. He is the bread of life.ย

*๐‘ซ๐’Š๐’‘ ๐’š๐’๐’–๐’“ ๐‘ฉ๐’“๐’†๐’‚๐’… ๐’Š๐’ ๐’—๐’Š๐’๐’†๐’ˆ๐’‚๐’“, most people see vinegar as bitter. But in the Bible it was a compound of nectars exposed from sweet fruits like grapes and mingled with water to produce a weak wine like substance.ย

This was an act of kindness to show she was welcome.

*๐‘บ๐’‰๐’† ๐’”๐’‚๐’• ๐’…๐’๐’˜๐’ ๐’˜๐’Š๐’•๐’‰ ๐’•๐’‰๐’† ๐’‰๐’‚๐’“๐’—๐’†๐’”๐’•๐’†๐’“๐’”, she had no idea what she was doing but he welcomed her anyway! He gave her a place she felt welcomed. A place of security. A place she felt like she belonged.

*๐‘ฏ๐’† ๐’‘๐’‚๐’”๐’”๐’†๐’… ๐’ˆ๐’“๐’‚๐’Š๐’ ๐’•๐’ ๐’‰๐’†๐’“, Boaz is sitting at the head of the table, his reapers beside him, and Ruth, this beautiful girl who he brought in from the field, sitting beside the reapers, equal in ๐‘ฏ๐’Š๐’” site. Yet she was the least of them. Yet he purposely handed her more than the others.ย

*๐‘บ๐’‰๐’† ๐’‚๐’•๐’† ๐’‚๐’๐’ ๐’”๐’‰๐’† ๐’˜๐’‚๐’๐’•๐’†๐’…, she ate all she wanted. He held nothing back. He wanted her to be satisfied! She was so satisfied that it says, โ€œ๐’”๐’‰๐’† ๐’‰๐’‚๐’… ๐’”๐’๐’Ž๐’† ๐’๐’†๐’‡๐’• ๐’๐’—๐’†๐’“!โ€œ

Did you catch that mirror. —Boaz fed into her so much. She had enough left over to take back to Naomi!

Ladies hear me out. If you are not yet married, and are looking for your soulmate, pray up. Pray for your Boaz. Pray for that Boaz that is going to fill you up to where you are so full you are overflowing that you were gonna give it back to others! (Mark 16:15)

If you are already married. Pray to be a Ruth. Ready to serve and do what it takes to rise up. Pray to be the Boaz, that your kindness and willingness and wisdom mirrors the Lord that you both are so full you are overflowing! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

An early picture of me and my Boaz. I thank God for him everyday.

This just blessed me today. I hope it did you too. Iโ€™ll add the bread oil recipe. Itโ€™s amazing with fresh bread! ๐Ÿž ๐Ÿฅ–๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿผ
